Chocolate makeover for classic French fries
McDonald's Japan has given its classic French fries a chocolate makeover and added the ‘McChoco Potato’ to its menu for a limited time only.
Japanese customers can now try a combination of McDonald’s French fries drizzled with two types of chocolate sauces – chocolate with cacao flavour and white milk chocolate. The fast food restaurant believes that the McChoco Potatoes will be a novel dessert option, and that they will be ideal for different occasions.
McDonald’s Japan is developing a reputation for creativity, with its previous innovation – ‘Shaka Shaka’ Potato fries topped with cheese sauce or bacon – also generating publicity.
The McChoco Potato is available at participating McDonald’s restaurants across Japan from January 26.
