New Lindt travel gifting range
Lindt Mini Pralines, a special-edition Chinese New Year gift set and a Lindor Deluxe Heart are among the new products launched by Lindt & Sprüngli Travel Retail this month.
The new gifting ranges were introduced at the Tax Free World Association (TFWA) Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference 2018, taking place 6th – 10th May, which included updates on new flavours, new travel retail exclusives and news about Lindor.
The new products are based on research showing that “gifting is important to the travelling Asian customer.” According to Lindt, Lindor’s chocolate balls are popular with Chinese and Asian travellers, leading to the launch of the new collectable Lindor Deluxe Heart (200g), which will be available in classic red and premium gold, filled with smooth melting Lindor chocolate.
In addition, Lindt will also be introducing its Mini Pralines (155g), which are a selection of 32 mini chocolates. Described as “half the size, but just as sophisticated,” they will be available in ‘premium gold’ and ‘trendy pink’.
They are intended to be an informal gift for younger friends and family, and they can be bought in multipacks of 3 x 44g.
Peter Zehender, from Lindt & Sprüngli’s global duty free division, commented: “Travelling can be a special time for close friends and family. This is why we are delighted to be able to focus on Asian travellers with some new, innovative flavours and exclusives of our much-loved Lindt and Lindor products. A huge goal for us here at Lindt & Sprüngli is to drive market share in the Asian region, and we feel our new launches do just that whilst providing wonderful gifts for friends and family.”
The company will also unveil its Lindt Chinese New Year edition in celebration of one of the most important events in the Asian festive calendar.
