Second Nutella Cafe opens
Ferrero has celebrated the grand opening of a second Nutella Cafe in New York
The cafe which opened to the public on 14 November in Union Square, is the second Nutella Cafe to be opened by Ferrero; the first opened in May 2017 in Chicago.
Owned and made by Ferrero International, these stand-alone Nutella Cafes, deliver Nutella-centric dishes throughout the year, along with a customised speciality coffee: whipped cream and Nutella drizzle as seen on the Chicago menu.
Rick Fossali, Vice President of operations, Nutella Cafe, said: "We are thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of the Nutella Cafe New York in one of the greatest culinary cities in the world.
"The response to our first Nutella Cafe in Chicago has been outstanding, and we cannot wait to treat New Yorkers and tourists alike to a wonderfully delicious Nutella experience showcasing the uniqueness and versatility of this beloved product."
The menu consists of an assortment of treats, all incorporating the Nutella Hazlenut spread and all day dishes include freshly baked breads, pastries, breakfast specials, desserts and gelato. Some of Chicago's favourites have included the Pound cake Panzanella and grilled baguette while exculsively to the New York menu: Hazlenut blondies with Hazlenut chocolate spread, multi-grain Piccolino freshly-baked crossiants and grilled banana bread with Nutella topped with fresh banana slices and toasted hazlenuts. Another highlight is the Nutella 'Create Your Own' station, giving the opportunity to choose a favourite base with nutella which can be customised with toppings and flavours.
