ISM Coverage – New chocolate with vegan and organic credentials
This year's ISM, the world's largest trade fair for sweets and snacks, returns to Cologne at the end of the month, running from January 31 to February 3. In the countdown to the event, Kennedy's is bringing you exclusive news and previews of what exhibitors have in store. Today, we can reveal that German company Frankonia Schokoladenwerke is introducing no less than five brand new products, including chocolate varieties that are vegan, organic, without sugar, and without lactose.
Among the highlights are its lactose-free ‘Meine Pralinen’ chocolate range, which is available in four different compositions: milk cream with vanilla and almond pieces, salty almond cream in milk chocolate, whole almonds and almond nougat cream on chocolate, and dark cocoa cream in white chocolate.
Meanwhile, its vegan and organic range – known as ‘Pralinen Auswahl’ – seeks to offer high quality chocolate within the vegan sector, which can often prove challenging. Using ingredients from organic agriculture, Frankonia truly believes that its new offering serves up real chocolate pleasure alongside these specific credentials.
