Chocolatier places prunes as a key ingredient
Award-winning chocolatier Paul.A.Young has introduced a series of three new chocolates using California Prunes.
The fruit inclusion, which features with Goat’s Cheese and Guittard 38% milk chocolate marks aims to create a stand-out cheesecake in the guise of a chocolate.
Each year, Paul includes a cheese inspired chocolate as part of the chocolatier’s summer collection. The chocolate features a layer of goat’s cheese ganache topped with a further smattering of California Prune puree to deliver a perfect sweet and tangy taste sensation.
The Smoked California Prune with Bourbon and Barley chocolate will be available from July and features Smoked California Prune, Barley Malt Caramel, Buffalo Trace Bourbon and 38% Guittard milk chocolate.
California Prune Molasses Caramel with Toasted Almond and Rose, Guittard white chocolate shell with rose petals will be available in stores in the next two weeks.
