Holdsworth Chocolates go for gold!

The team at Holdsworth Chocolates are extremely proud to have received a gold star at this year’s Guild of Fine Foods Great Taste Awards (the Oscars for Foodies!) for their Sir Robin of Locksley Assorted Gin Truffles.

Judges comments included “A pleasure to behold”, “A wonderfully balanced treat”, “On the nose we find a touch of gin and when this melts on the palate we find gin with a hint of citrus”, and “There is a touch of fruitiness but only delicate.”

Sir Robin of Locksley Assorted Gin Truffles are ranged in stores such as Selfridges and John Lewis Partnership at RRSP £8.00 (100g).

Holdsworth Chocolates are a family owned company based in Bakewell, Peak District where they have been producing chocolates and truffles by hand for over 35 years.

“We have teamed up with an artisan gin company from over the moors in Sheffield, South Yorkshire to create an absolute taste sensation,” explained Carolyn Boyd, Sales Director. “Our finest ganache truffles have been infused with the delicious Sir Robin of Locksley gin, and a blend of traditional botanicals with delicate infusions of elderflower, dandelion and pink grapefruit. Different, yet delicious!”
